BayanAnihan is designed to be a resource for our Farmers and Fisherfolks by providing sustainability best practices and capturing data
that can better inform supply chains. The BayanAnihan helps the Farmers and Fisherfolks become more sustainable and profitable and connect them
to broader supply chains.
Many of the Filipino Farmers and Fisherfolks lack access to, or awareness of vital information such as weather data, produce/harvest handling and safety best practices, and other useful content that can boost their profitability and improve their livelihood. BayanAnihan is built not only to give them a digital identity, but most especially to distribute useful contents that help them become more sustainable in their methods.
Majority of our Farmers and Fishers are living at the base of the economic pyramid with limited access to broadband data and either a basic smartphone (at best), or a feature phone as their means for accessing broadband content. Because of this we designed BayanAnihan specifically with accessibility in mind. The app is available on Google Play Store or it can also be accessed through Facebook Messenger using only minimal data on any device.
